Ed was born and raised in New York City, where he started his career in the music industry working as a musician, live sound engineer and technician. Ed played in bands around New York for many years, on stages as diverse as Carnegie Recital Hall and CBGBs. He went on to serve as Coordinator of Audio Operations for Sony Music Studios in New York. He has been the Production Manager of BigSound since 2009; and has served as Technical Manager of the Jambalaya/Delta Stage at Bluesfest since 2012. Ed has toured the world, most recently as FOH Sound for Tones & I (who he has worked with since 2019).
